Our waterline model, Ellie Mara, is based on the schooner Grace Bailey, built in 1882. She was rebuilt as the “Mattie” in 1909, and then converted to a charter cruise boat in 1939 sailing out of Camden, MA. She continued to do so until 1990 when she was refitted and given back her “maiden name” Grace Bailey. She continues to sail to this day. This complete model ship kit includes all materials for rigging, cabin and spars. Includes cast resin hull, laster-cut parts, and brass chain. Comprehensive plans and detailed instructions.
